OUR USE OF COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING MECHANISMS

When you interact with our Services, we strive to make your experience easy and meaningful. We or our third-party service providers may use cookies, web beacons (clear GIFs, web bugs), and similar technologies to track user activity and collect site data. We may combine this data with the Personal Information we have collected from you. By continuing to use our Services, you are agreeing to our use of cookies and web beacons on your device.

Cookies. We and our third-party service providers use cookies to track visitor activity on our Services and to administer the Services. A cookie is a text file that a website transfers to your computer’s hard drive for record-keeping purposes. Our cookies assign a random, unique number to each visitor’s computer but they do not contain information that would personally identify the visitor, although we can associate a cookie with any identifying information that is or has been provided to us while using our Services. Most browsers allow users to refuse cookies, but doing so could impede the functionality of some portions of our Services.

Local Storage Objects. We may also use local browser storage, such as HTML5 Local Storage, to store your preferences and to personalize your visit.

Clear GIFs, pixel tags and other technologies. Clear GIFs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on your computer’s hard drive, clear GIFs are embedded invisibly on web pages. We and our third party service providers may use clear GIFs (a.k.a. web beacons, web bugs or pixel tags), in connection with our Services to, among other things, track the activities of visitors, help us manage content and compile statistics about usage. We and our third party service providers also use clear GIFs in HTML e-mails to our customers, to help us track e-mail response rates, identify when our e-mails are viewed, and track whether our e-mails are forwarded.

Analytics. We may use automated devices and applications, including those provided by third parties, to evaluate usage of our Services. We also may use other analytic means to evaluate usage of our Services. We use these tools to help us improve our Services, performance and user experiences.

COMMUNICATIONS AND MARKETING

We hope to deliver to you advertising for products and services you need or want. There are many ways to do this in the online advertising world. For example, we may partner with websites with whom you have shared your interests, conditions and concerns directly and asks that they serve our ads to users who have expressed an interest in our products and Services. We may also partner with advertising companies to serve you ads based on your web browsing activity, purchases and/or interests. Some techniques for delivering content based on your interests are referred to as online behavioral advertising.

We may display banner ads within our Services. We may also send alerts and notifications, as well as periodic promotional informational or other marketing emails to you. If you do not wish to have your contact information used by us to promote our own or third parties’ products or services, you can opt-out by sending an email to us. Please note that it may take up to ten (10) business days for us to process opt-out requests. If you opt out of receiving marketing emails and texts we may still send you alerts, notifications and other e-mails about your account or any Services you have requested or received from us.

THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites and services. Any access to and use of such linked websites or services are not governed by this Policy, but instead are governed by the privacy policies of those third party websites. We recommend that you review the privacy statements posted to those websites and services. We are not responsible for the information practices of such third party websites or services, nor are we responsible for or guarantee the products and services offered by them.

SECURITY

We have implemented security safeguards (e.g. where appropriate, authentication procedures, password requirements, firewalls, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, Extended Validation (EV) certificate technology, data encryption, audit logs, backup procedures, intrusion monitoring, usage monitoring and secure facility) to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of the information we collect through our Services. Despite our best efforts, no data security measures can guarantee 100% security.

You should take steps to protect against unauthorized access to your password, phone, and computer by, among other things, signing off after using a computer, choosing a robust password that nobody else knows or can easily guess, and keeping your log-in and password private. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or compromised passwords or for any activity on your account via unauthorized password activity. Always comply with your employer’s internal security protocols; including but not limited to using approved computers, devices and networks.

Any information you provide us through use of the Services may be stored and processed, transferred between and accessed from the United States and other countries which may not guarantee the same level of protection of Personal Information as the one in which you reside. However, we will handle your Personal Information in accordance with this Policy regardless of where your Personal Information is stored/accessed.

If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure (for example, if you feel that the security of any account you might have with us has been compromised), please immediately notify us.

OTHER RIGHTS, RETENTION AND DELETION

We do our best to keep your data accurate and up to date, to the extent that you provide us with the information we need to do so. If your data changes (for example, if you have a new email address), then you are responsible for notifying us of those changes. We retain the Personal Information we receive as described in this Privacy Policy for as long as you use our Services or as necessary to fulfill the purpose(s) for which it was collected, provide our Services, resolve disputes, establish legal defenses, conduct audits, pursue legitimate business purposes, enforce our agreements, and comply with applicable laws.

Although we make good faith efforts to provide you with access to your Personal Information, there may be circumstances in which we are unable to provide access, including for example, where the information contains legal privilege, would compromise others’ privacy or other legitimate rights, where the burden or expense of providing access would be disproportionate to the risks to the individual’s privacy in the case in question, or where it is commercially proprietary. If we determine that access should be restricted in any particular instance, we may provide you with an explanation of why that determination has been made and a contact point for any further inquiries. To protect your privacy, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access to or making any changes to your Personal Information.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

We are committed to protecting the privacy of children. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

From time to time, we may update and timely post revisions to this Policy. Any changes will be effective immediately upon the posting of the revised Policy. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices. This Policy was updated as of the effective date listed above.
